WKF UKRAINE president Mr. Alexey Nikolayevich KAZANTSEV / Олексій Миколайович Казанцев organized the Ukraine open international tournament in Pershotravensk, east Ukraine.

New Ukraine national champion in Muay Thai Valeri VYHONSKIY in Lightheavyweight – 81 Kg/ 178 lbs. Official result was KO in fifth round.
Ladies K-1 European title in Heavyweight + 66Kg / +145 lbs Alexandra “GODZILLA” PETRE challenged Ukraine European and World champion Alisa “fox” BAZHUKOVA.
After a real tough battle Bazhukova won unanimous by points.
WKF AUSTRIA president Gerald DITTRICH announce next event on September 26th.
Because of the COVID-19 Virus situation this Austrian Championships are last chance for qualifications for the Austrian national team for the World Championships in Egypts capitol Cairo in October 2019.
Because of the amazing Cairo and first ever World Championships on the African continent in amazing Egypt everybody want to participate and to be “part of the team” !
I invite all coaches, athletes, referees to the Open Championship of Ukraine in kickboxing WKF, as well as the international referee seminar, which will be conducted by Fritz Exenberger (Austria), the president of WKF.
The events will take place on October 15-17, 2020, in Pershotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine.

WKF officials by European Championships in Baia Mare 2019
Since the World Congress in Andria in 2016, a change of rule was made at the request of several state presidents. The IRC has adopted the rule change and official after the European Championship 2017 in Greece. In the last World congress in Buenos Aires 2019 all new rules have been confirmed again.
The rule changes are:
In the WKF Amateur Thai Boxing is fought with elbows and knees also to the head (!). Therefore elbow protectors are also obligatory from now on.
This means that also “spinning elbows” to head with eye contact are correct. Like jumped knees also to the head! The fighting time remains unchanged 3 × 2 minutes.

The application for changes to the MMA weight classes has not been granted, it remains as before.
