Once again, the Guggenberger Sports Hall in 2100 Korneuburg near by Vienna will host the next International WKF AUSTRIA TOP event on March 21, 2026.
The WKF Lower Austria State Association, with President Florian Bartl and „AUSTRIA BOXING UNION“ President and Supervisor Daniel Z. Hirlau, are once again organizing an intentional tournament for BOXING, KICKBOXING, and MMA.
Many teams and well-known clubs from our neighboring countries have already confirmed their participation!
International WKF referees with a valid license are welcome!

Muay Thai title fight in Greece
On September 27th, our nr. 1 promoter in Greece „Mad dog promotions“ promote the next WKF PRO – AM international title in Muay Thai.
Weight category is Lightwelterweight – 63,5 Kg / 138 lbs
Current Greece Champion Jürgen LUAN from „Mad dog Camp“ fight vs. challenger for the belt Stefanos PSARAS from Nicosia, Cyprus.
He represent the „Global Vale Tudo Cyprus“ team.

Austrian Open in Boxing and K-1

On September 20, 2025, one of the largest international WKF tournaments will once again be held at the Guggenberger Sports Hall in Austria
The WKF disciplines for male and females will be K-1 and amateur BOXING. Official WKF age and weight classes will apply. You can find the announcement here , registration for your team is just per mail possible
Many downloads on the WKF EUROPE website demonstrate the great interest in the 2025 Austrian Open.
The weight check, WKF license, and medical check will only be conducted on Friday, September 19th , in the sport hall from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Video weigh-ins are not permitted in the WKF.
NO WEIGH-INS ARE POSSIBLE on Saturday, September 20

International Referee Seminar in Poland
An officially sanctioned International Referee Seminar will take place on October 20th in Mielec, Poland.
This seminar will prepare our best international referees for the upcoming 2026 World Championships and renew their WKF licenses.
No WKF license, no WKF Referee!
To date, 14 nations from Latin and Central America alone have been confirmed for the 2026 World Championships in Cartagena, Colombia.
Therefore, around 1.000 South Americans – men and women – are expected!
Our friends will be returning with numerous amateur boxers. Anyone who attended the last World Championships 2024 in Alicante saw the level of our sports friends for themselves.

Next World Cup in Minsk
The next World Cup will be held after the summer break from September 15-21 in Minsk, Belarus.
Eastern Europe will be represented by major teams.
EU citizens do NOT require a visa if they stay in Belarus for less than 30 days.

Since the last European congress in Moldova in June 2025, he was new elected WKF EUROPE continental President
Our representative and official confirmed chairman of the WKF BELARUS is Mr. CHMELKOW Sergej Vitaljewitsch – Хмельков Сергей Васильевич!.
He is General Director of the Republican Olympic Center and “Stayki”.
Initial information about the next World Championships in November 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia, will also follow very soon.
Our Amateur World President Mr. Carlos SUAREZ from Buenos Aires, Argentina, will be official WKF observer. He will attend the WKF Board meeting in Minsk Hilton Hotel, where high-ranking WKF representatives from Europe, Africa and Asia are expected.
